Thats a pretty small space so I would use CFLs (Compact Floresent Lighting).
2-3 plants max at bloom but start 5-7.

Lights - I would recomend for Growth (Color Temperature (Kelvin) 6500) 1 per plant, and for Bloom (Color Temperature (Kelvin) 2700) at least 2-1/2 per plant. They are High Definitions and the diffrent spectrums needed for the two stages.

Soil (do soil your first time) - Use one of the folowing Referance
  • Home & Garden Showplace Professional Mix
  • Fertilome Potting Mix
  • Nature's Yield Potting Soil
  • Southland Potting & Plant Mix
  • Black Gold All Purpose Mix
  • Permagreen General Purpose Potting Soil
  • Schultz's Instant Potting Soil Plus
  • Sunshine All Purpose
Pots - About 1 gallon. A short wide pot will help you save some height.

PH tester - GET ONE VERY IMPORTANT. Plants will stop absorbing nutriants if PH is to far out of range.

PH modifier - PH up & PH down. Available at your local grow shop or pet store (Aquarium section) same with tester.

That should get you started keep us updated and we'll be glad to help along the way.

Google A thing called POT-TV. There's a Mr. Green Person and he shows you EVERYTHING.. It's helped me out a shit load! I'd advise checkin it out.. I may watch it again just to entertain myself and spark newer cooler ideas for the grow room I'm building.

Click the links in there. If you dont want to get them online there are two things to stick to. Get 40+ watt actual usage not incadesent equivelent. Make sure they are the right Color Tempature, will be called Tempature, Kelvin, or spectrum (see above).
