newbie-do you guys spray water on your leaves??

Hey everyone-

is it good/bad to spray water on your leaves?? My temp is around 82-87...bit more on the warmer side so I figure I give them a cool mist....any thoughts??
 
82 is ok for veg, 87 is high. I would mist for humidity if humidity is under 50%. But mising won't help with too high temps.
 
smile is right but it will keep plant green and thriving so i would and do for my mother plant its still in dirt but it seems towork pretty good leaves suck in water too.
