Previously I have been trimming immediatley while wet. Then hanging for 7-10 days and jarring. Then burping daily for 30 days. I have gotton the hay smell. But it seems to dissapate after 15-30 days and smoke gets smooth. Is dry trimming the better method? I hear the plants dry slower and smells better? I also hear that just taking the fans off and leaving the sugar leaves closer to the flowers, for a full 7-14 days greatly slows the drying process for a tastier, smellier product?

Personally, I think it's much easier to get the good cure stripping the fan leaf, hanging and cutting dry. 7-14 days is probably right with no light and moderate humidity. They should be mostly dry when cut and then stabilize moisture content in a closed or semi closed container for a bit. 'Burping' in jars for 30 days is by no means necessary.

Only way to find out is to try it. Do a side by side and let us know your results.
