newb stoner needs supplies..

Ok guys, ive read around on these forums and it seems most of u guys know what your talking about so here is my dilemma. I was over at a friends house last night and we were smokeing when he started to show me his plants, he had several near ready harvest ladies and he also had a little sprouter. He said the girls he was about to hang and dry were AK strains but he dont know the strain of the sprouter. So by the end of our second blunt he told me i could have it, he said he wanted to take a break from growing for awhile, so of course like an idiot i agreed. So here it is,



So i took it home and put it in my snakes cage, and out of some luck it grew with this little shitty light i have to keep my snakes cage warm. good thing its temporary because im sure there is all kinds of bugs running around on my monster pythons cage. So here is my question finally, what supplies do i need... it looks like it was planted in MG and ive read on here thats a bad thing, so what kind of soil do you guys suggest, also what kind of light do i need, i mean this one i am useing is making it grow but i really dont want to leave it in a snakes cage for too long... I need lights,soil,nutes, and i need to know what kind i need. I AM NEW and i dont want this little thing to die im already attached....

hmm ive herd the ak strain gets kinda smelly...but if you were to grow i would go get... 1-2 gallon pots to put it in... depends on how big u want it... i would go buy some cfls... or hps if you would consider growing alittle more then 1 plant... but cfls for now...50-100 watts should be enough for 1 plant (REAL WATTS) not equivelant shit.... also you would need a small box/cab/closet/attic to put it in... mabe some ventalation(computer fans) flat white walls.. or just mylar wraping paper.. back side mirror like.. finish 1-2$... then if you want you can pick up some nute's... also i would get a ph meter and some ph up/down.. if your ph is off it can fuck your plants real hard..( learned first hand )
then late grow you may want a carbon filter to get rid of the smell... or mabe some more lights... also a temp/hygrometer .. thats about it... i think...

the guy told me that this is a different strain... he says just watch it grow and hopefully its good =/. What kind of nutes do i need man, u have some brand names i could look at? same with the lights, u have a link to one of those CFL's... what about a 250watt HPS, how much do they run, im not totally straped for cash but i dont want to go all outrageous, and i will just do one at a time, if its a male i will just practice with it and stuff. i just need some links to certain lights because i am a dunce when it comes to plants.

well ok... first of all your dont "need" nutes... they may help... i would suggest looking at general hydroponics nutes... check out ebay for price's.... as for the lights... hps... high pressure sodium will cost u 100-200.... but u can get cfls from local store's... walmart sells the small 25 watt ones... they will work if i get a few... home depot u can find bigger like 50 wat ones... 1-2 will work... online u can get 100-200 watt cfls for like
20-50.... if your not real into growing i would just grab a few cfls... from home depot.. rig em up in a box with flat white paint... or wrapping paper mylar... and get a ph meter to make sure ur water properly phed... with a bigger pot... wont cost u more then 30 bucks and will get u off to a good start... if you get into it then go from there with the bigger stuff... u can get bagseed locally or high grade seeds online cheap... if u get into it.. which im sure u will if you have questions lmk

I had a Burmese Python that grew to 16ft,we fed her Flemish Giant Bunny Rabbit's twice a month 2 at a time,get that plant otta there before your snake takes a shit all over it,you know what kinda mess that's going to be if it happens,fur & shit all over the plant is not going to help it grow.
