Newb needs strain advice

Hello everybody. Within the next couple of years I'm going to attempt to grow some plants and I need some advice on what strain to choose. I haven't smoked for about 5 years and I'm a total newb when it comes to strain types.
I'm going to be growing indoors in soil. I'm going to use MH or HPS lamps.

I want something that gives me a couch-locked buzz. Something that makes me high, sleepy and tired. What are your suggestions?

I look forward to learning a great deal from the people of this forum.

Any advice is also greatly appreciated.

Anything Indica, it's easy to grow, and it usually gives you a couchlock high

White Widow and Northernlights #5 are good. The type of high you are looking for can be done by harvesting your plant when your trichomes are amber.

For the first time this strain provided growers with the good taste and high of a sativa coupled with the quick heavy flowering of an indica. Having been successfully stabilized, Skunk No. 1 has been widely used as a breeding parent for most of todays leading "skunk" and many other strains. It is very easy to grow and has always been seen as a standard against which others can be measured.
It produces dense buds varying in colour from light green to golden with a very high yield. It is easy to manicure due to its high bud-to-leaf ratio. It has a sweet smell and taste with a cerebral high.

I'm not a big fan, unless I use it to sleep, then I'll get a 60/40 mix, in which case I get skunk
