hey guys thank you so much for all the great info and tips i have researched throughout your site...now i just need a little advice and im going to start my journal ::D
anyways here is my mix....id love to hear any input on whether or not my plants will be ok or will die in this mix =/
please advise as first time ...well 2nd time grow 1st did not do so well =/ (soil from outdoors)

ok so heres my mix

80 L Promix HP
30 L Triple mix soil ( with humus and sphegnum peat)
30 L Composted Sheep Manure
15 LB Earth Worm Castings
1/2 large bag more perlite
3 cups kelp meal (1-0-3)
1 cup Tomato Fertilizer (6-12-12)
2 cup Bone Meal W/ humus added (4-7-0)
1.5 cups Blood Meal (12-0-0)
1.5 cups Bat Guano (8-4-2)
1 cup dolomitic lime
1/2 cup epsom salts

(cant find any azomite) but i will be using teas and superthrive as well throughout

anyways how does that mix look?...im kinda concerned for whether or not i have enough ammendments for that soil mix....buddy poured in too much promix so now thats what im left with....i wwas posting on grasscity for some advice but all they wanna do over there is say so much crap but not give anyone an answer to their question...so you all know my question and that is...does this soil mix look alright for 5 weeks into veg then ready to flip with the super soil?......i just dont want to have more/less ammendments for a water only soil....and sometimes i look at my list and think to myself ..... i dont have enough ammendments.....any thoughts would be soo greatly appreciated...thanks alot! :D

also as well i forgot to add this in..stupid me...anyways....i am going to be starting off my seeds in the promix only for 2 weeks then i plan on moving them to 1 GAL pots after the 2 weeks....my question is i cant get FFOF or ROOTS or anything like that .....can i use a premiere tripple mix soil at 50/50 with the promix for the veg stage? (lets say 1.5 months) .....i know what to do with the supersoils at flowering but my main question along with my main OP is what kinda soils can i use for veg ?...i was thinking i could mix 25/75 supersoil/promix would this work? or will it be too "hot" i really need to find something to veg in for 1.5 months....so SS/promix or Organic potting mix/promix ? thanks alot guys...just dont want dead plants...been doing alot of work =/

cmon guys 170 views someones gotta have 1 word to say :D......and I have been researching more...and I figure my pro mix hp is not like a potting mix soil like ffof or roots so...will this combination work out well for a super soil?....im having doubts now...or would this soil be good for just growing in veg throughout..? cuz what im thinking is since I used promix as the medium its not gonna be a super soil....? any thoughts?

If that mix above is what you have sitting, then you'll do fine. 'Super Soil' is what subnoob calls his organic mix, for branding/marketing purposes. Any medium with aeration and dry ammendments is 'super soil'

Thanks POH getting some confidence back...gonna add some alfalfa meal to it this week so it has a full spectrum......one more thing I wanted to ask if you knew as well was....after the seedling phase im gonna use an organic potting mix 40 % and pro mix 40 % 10 % perlite....now with the last 10 % can I add 10 % of this soil or will that be too strong? should I just veg 4 weeks in potting soil with dressings? teas?

With properly cycled organic soil, there is very little risk of burning...but if you must have another mix, I'd go with just your base mix (Peat, Compost, Aeration) and maybe throw in a little kelp. Assuming you've got quality compost, it'll be more than enough to get em their legs. Dressings aren't an instant feed, whatever you top dress with must be broken down and made available, just like the original cook cycle. Same goes with teas, the longer its allowed to soak or ferment the more becomes available, but its only once the tea is broken down in the soil that it does what you want it to. For a quicker effect, look into fermented plant extracts and botanical teas (Different than ACT).
