What so proudly we vegged at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad leaves and bright stems, through the perilous fight,
O'er the trichomes we watched were so gallantly budding?
And the DEA couldn't care, federal bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof to the right that our pot was still there.
