New Vero Cob?

Hello. can you somebody help me with one qustion?
How much heat will emit BXRC-50E10K1-D-74? will be used Soft. 1050 or max 1400mA. datasheet info is 194lm/W at 37.2W and 183lm/W at 50.6W.
I know that efficiency is around 50% but I can not find the exact number for gen7.

Thx

Yes unless someone knows a better way to think you need to get the SPD curve and plot the numbers in excel to find the LER and QER to determine how efficient the cob is- then you know how many heat watts.

I've been looking at the vero g7 too and from output to price point and lm/w they are at the top of my list.

Is there any difference between gen 7 V29 B and gen 7 V22 C? I see same numbers in excell (maybe 1-2W more on V22, and 1-2V less in V29)? Lumens per watt almost equal. Price? V22 is twice cheaper than V29.

not much notable performance difference on paper, the Vero 29 has no-solder connector built in if you care about that.

im trying to work out what would be better 1 breidgelux vero 29 1750k decor or about 20 red leds possibly a mix of 10 of each ish
  • Lumileds Luxeon C Red
  • Lumileds SunPlus 20 Deep Red
is there a simple umol calculator in excel or somthing that will convert the data i need

Nope,
not that I know, but SunPlus datasheets contains also par numbers so you can start from there. But there are no real numbers for the meat chips, only some messurements at different heights in a few CRI80 vs. CRI90 threads.

if you look at lm the breidgelux vero 29 1750k decor seems a good option as im designing a pcb with 1000 lm561c leds on 800 3000k and 200 4000k and wanted to add reds so thought adding the vero29 1750 might be the best option over lots of indervidual reds simuar pcbs are using about 20 but they dont seem to reach far into the 700nm range the bridgelux goes just into the 800nm range ?
