new to this first plant

Looking for advice im new to this cheap set up like three walmart 17 watt lamps that say they put out 70 but u know just got a plant from a buddy figured id try something and not let it just die
Let me know what u guys think or how i can impove what i have going thanks all important is good important so that being said take it easy on me

stickies are the first few topics when u click on Marijuana plant problems,.. they contain general knowledge and answer general questions...tips cupping up could be a sign of nute burn if the tips are yellow or browning,,,, tips curling up could also mean heat....judging by this pic id say heat .... what type of lighting are u using ans also how far away.... do u have and fans running or ventillation wat is your temps

Im jist using walmart t8 24 inch 17 watt lamps 3 of em nothing crazy cheap stuff i was trying to us and im about 5inch away now i moved it closer and i just use a six inch fan bouncing off the side wall

50w-75w per plant is ideal however im not sure about using t8s never tryed them go by the hand method for heat... if the light is too hot on ur hand its to hot for the heat , u should get a meter... ur new growth looks healthy ... i agree with starting a nute (npk) feeding i like fox farms grow big big bloom and tiger bloom.... if ur using distilled spring or r/o water u may want to add calmag....

looks like the plant is suckking the chloryphyl str8 out of those bottom leaves taking the color right out of them and using them as energy to produce ur new growth

Im sorry but alot of the terms u used dont know im super new to this but i just use tap water from my house atm the stuff i got from my friends were ment more for hydro i guess then soil what he said anyways gor some new pebble stuff u put on the top of the plants now

Fox farms is for soil to even tho it says hydroponics on it.... Its three part...grow big , big bloom , tiger bloom....tap water already has calcium so u don't need to add cal mag if u can test ur waters ppm u can verify that .... Calmag has N in it too much N and ull get burnt so take it easy especially using calmag with grow big...u can lock out and ur plant will stop eating if u feed it to much. I'd flush with plain tap 2 feedings then go back to ur feeding ...that pebble stuff is probably high value 20-20-20 if u don't have instructions I wouldn't us . It and if u do go 1/4 feedings to start

Fox farms I follow the schedule thru veg....then in flower I feed 3 tsp of each until week 4 then start reducing the grow big to 2 tsp then week 6 I tsp...I add advanced nutrients big bud weeks 2-4 of flower ..I usually flush with plain water for a week before harvest I'm gonna try to weeks this time
