New to the world of growth

Hi all!! This is my first time acting upon my urge to grow. My biggest problem is I do not know where to start. I have been reading articles everywhere including several(if not all ) forums on this site. I believe I have a complete understanding of what is needed, but again where do i start.

Here is my situation: I live in a 3rd floor 1 bedroom apt that has a back porch that is not visible to neighbors.

Would I want to try the indoor method or outdoor method?

I appreciate any and all help you all can provide.

If you grow indoors, you can control the enviroment.

remember plants can smell alot ODOURS seeing as you're staying in a 3rd floor 1 bed apt.

My best advice is to just get started, you'll learn along the way.
