New To seeds

Hello everyone, it has been a while since i last posted, I am about to start my first grow from seeds, Bog Blue moon rocks to be exact, i was told to start a few seeds and than take cuttings and flower the mother to make sure it is not a male. I Have no problem taking the extra step but as i am growing in a cool cab by sunlightsheds i do not have a place to flower and keep the clones in veg. i was wondering if i could use a florescent tube to flower, just to make sure my plants are not male? if they turn out to be female i will just finish them off outside because where i am the light cycle will be about 12/12 when i start to see results from the test. Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated .

Flower the cuts, not the mother. You can keep em together but ul have to remove the cuts at the same time everyday, they will show sex in a couple weeks. Toss the males and put the fem cuts back in with the mom to veg or toss em out.

You can either...

1) Take cuts and flower the mom

2) Take cuts and root them out and flower them.

You'll need a seperate area to do this.

I flower in my 3x3x6 tent,mother/clone/pre veg under a 4' two bulb shoplight in a closet.

It shouldn't take very much longer for your plants to be showing pre-flowers; if they have such growth as to provide good cuttings, that is. I would just wait for sex to show and then take cuttings, bloom.
