New to forum, 3rd grow (Perpetual)

Hempy pot, Dr.Earth, arena style

Having not signed up to a forum due to paranoia, I've decided that it's time for me to put up a few pictures of the room, plants and get some general ideas on how the grow is going. While I always find my own advice very helpful, I would enjoy to hear from some of you guys out there on this forum.

So the idea behind my grow is to always have 2-3 "main" plants growing in the middle of the room, with younger clones raised up around the sides of the room so they still recieve ample light so that they can be rotated into the middle of the room and new clones from the clone chamber (taken from the plants in the middle, from the bottom nodes) can be moved onto the raised platforms, and the cycle continues. Most clones are cut within the first 2 weeks of the plants being "centered" and are dipped and placed into coco pots (the kind that you put water on and they swell) and then placed into the insulated tupperware container until the roots poke out from the bottom of the smaller pots, then are transferred into water bottles with the tops cut off with the soil mix and are left to continue to grow roots until they reach the bottom of the water bottles. These are then transferred into gallon sized pots and placed into the grow room on the platform.

There has been hiccups here and there, I've had some plants never stretch out, they litterally only reached about a foot tall, covered with buds but just short stout little things. These were all before I allowed the root structure to grow larger by transplanting into the water bottles with soil.

In the clone chamber now I've got 18 seeds started and will select the best from those to start grow 5 here in a few weeks, will take pictures of all 3 of the grows (in one grow room!) to keep everyone up to date.

On that note, I'm going to go take a few pictures of the ladies now, and again I look forward to your opinions/advice.

First picture, Hempy Pot bud (clone), little clones (from the hempy pot) behind it on the blocks.

Second picture, bagseed fan leaf, hempy pot fan leaf to the side

third picture, Hempy pot on the left, bagseed soil on right (no veg on any of these other than the 2 weeks in the clone tupperware container)

fourth picture, top cola of the hempy pot with lights off

So here we go with the room, 4x4x4 400w air cooled HPS/MH switchable light (Sunsystem) Carbon filtered exhaust pulled through past the light and dumps out into a closet insulated from the grow room, intake from the concrete wall in basement. Lights on temps are 78-82F, lights off temps are 76F.
I don't have the capability to order any fine genetics as I am still to nervous to order any from the internet and I have no one local that I know who handles those types. So bagseeds it is for me.

Soil: Dr.Earth's POTting Mix, bunch of perlite, some vermiculite, a generous helping of garden lime and green sand. (for those unfamiliar with dr.earths, it contains, screen forest humus, fir bark fines, canadian sph. peat moss, perlite, worm castings, chicken manure, bat guano, seaweed extract, kelp meal, 7 strains of bene. microbes, 8 strains of endo/ecto mycorrhizae, yukka extract and aloe vera extract.

HempyPot: 1 gallon jug 100% perlite

Nutrients:

Been using Alaska's Fish Emultion (6/1/1) (primary for the short veg I do) Neptune's Harvest Hydrolized Fish/seaweed (2/3/1) (primary for flowering) Bonide Root And Grow 4/10/3 (1/2 strength every 3rd fert) and have been enjoying the results on this grow, previous grows I experimented with water soluable chemical fertilizers, there was some issues of yellowing leaves, ect however still pulled decent yields off of the plants.

After the switch everything has been going great, and low and behold... yellow spots on the fan leaves on the one plant I'm doing Hempy Pot with 100% perlite. I flushed and it has been about a week, I have not added any additional nutrients. Trichomes are covering the buds and are all looking quite swollen and I'm pleased at the size of the plant just worried about the yellow spots. pH only gets tested with a soil probe (on my soil plants) so my hempy pot has never been pH tested (Incoming or outgoing). I use well water, non chlorinated, back when I was running freshwater aquariums I believe my water came in right around 7.4-7.6. When I mix my ferts I don't test my pH so I really have no idea where they land at.

Alright, The two pictured above are close to finishing harvest, with 2 weeks left on the hempy pot clone and 4 weeks left on the dual Dr.Earth's bagseed.

The 3 clones are now all 1.5 feet with buds beginning to form on them, and the 12 seedlings have been moved from the clone/incubator tupperware container into the flowering room (100% perlite here, with coco puck that they started in) They are all looking great (apart from the one that got a little crispy on the 3rd set of fan leaves from touching the light in the clone room)

AS FOR NOW, the seedlings are now in 18oz red solo cups awaiting thier first signs of sex. I await patiently, pictures to come in the next few days!

Also! Room modification, I have removed the original "door" into the room and replaced with a cabinet that has been screwed into the wall allowing just a little bit extra space that still gets hit with light, I don't forsee that I will need this but it allows me to move the fan into a better position to provide more airflow to the room.

Temps today were 68-81 F with lights on, all plants are looking great.

That's sig line material right there, LOL!! Welcome Steve!! You may want to lower that light so those girls won't stretch so much. Looks like some leaf spotting on your last pic too. I guess you're probably on top of that.

Hey potpimp thanks for stopping by!

I agree, lowering the light would limit the stretch (But I've got a huge honker of a girl in there now that is just 5" from the glass) next time I'm going to somewhat SCROG or at least LST so I can get a decent average height on them bad gals.

The leaf spotting is on the clone that is in a hempy pot. It hasn't progressed much more but then again it hasn't gotten any better, I've cut back on the nutes and have been pH'ing my nutrients before I put them in (also cut back on the nutes by just a smidge)

Picture 2 (Sany2847) - Really tall gal, she will be the last one of the previous grow to complete

Picture 1 2839 - Hempy pot 18oz solo cup, they will all (13) stay in these until sexed and then moved into 3LT containers

Picture 2 2840 - Hempy basil? Yup, why not?

Picture 3 2841 - The only one out of the bunch with anything abnormal. I am assuming that this was the one that got a little close to the light in the starter tupperware container
