new to autos

hey there im new at the autoflower grow.im finding out with good genetics these are some hardy girls,and everything is going well so far.with autos when they say 8 weeks to harvest,is it from pistols 8 weeks till harvest or does it mean from seed 8 weeks to harvest,im old skool an photos have allways been the way.so I started an auto to get my feet wet an see how I make out.thank you for any an all info

Disregard most breeder claims .... they are marketing claims or from well controlled “ in house “ testing done
under “ optimal grow conditions “ at their facilities. For us regular joes ... Autos produce better often going past their harvest windows.
Most autos will fall within 90 day windows except for a few Sativa dom hybrids. As far as pistil time ... this usually the “ sexxing “ of the plant ( showing female ) before moving to transition time. From there , budsites begin to form ( crowns ) ... that’s about the time it is REALLY in flower ..... from there is where the weeks start.

Yes there are some quick 60 ish day strains but the majority of strains can go past or within 90 days.
