I've had trouble getting past the sprout stage. I'm using good soil and good water and supplying plenty of light. is there something im missing. help please
 
Using topsoil with little manure, and it has good irrigation. i currently have two bright desk lights on it but i am getting floro's on mon. and i have a hps 400watt for veg and flower. water with spring water. not much more i can say right now
 
Ok, temps? humidity? Air exchange? frequncy of watering?? What exactly is happening to your seedlings? Whats the source of your seeds?(bought or bagseed)??

Your question is like asking how long is a piece of string.
 
For a start the manure is probably too strong for seedlings, the topsoil will be fine to start them off.
 
its about 72F, humidity 44%, i water when soil gets slightly dry, i have had some dry up i tried putting them under my hps to early. the seeds are bags seeds but i got some nl on the way. the sprouts look really healthy and grow slow untill like 4 in stay green a bit and my last one just died eventually. i'm lacking somehting.
 
Ok communications error or something........... i stil get the events leading up to the death of the seedlings, it wouldnt be putting them under the hps too early, ive started seedlings under my 600hps quite a few times without any probs.
 
I had one die last night and i think i may know the problem. i was starting them in paper cups and the roots would reach the bottom ( i saw when i trashed it) would this kill the plants?
