New seeds! Help with starting ideas

Hello gentlemen:

I have recently gotten some seeds from attitude and I'm looking to germinate soon, but as I'd rather not spend that kind of cash again I'd like to try to fool-proof this. I have some ideas, I'd love some input from the pros here!

I am switching from soil to hydro, and I have a complete technaflora lineup that I got with my superbox grow compartment. I'd like to germinate the seed right into treated rockwool and get rocking and rolling, but I don't know how well a seed will root up in that, and if I'd have to run very low nutes at first (like 1/10th) or like 1/4 strength. The hydro-kit I have has air stones, air pump, water pump, etc with a info sheet on how to mix by period, including pre-vegitative.

If hydro is a bad idea, I feel pretty confident with soil but I'm afraid of transplanting later... I really want to get this to the point where it'll self-sustain so when it gets enough nodes I can basically butcher it and clone the hell out of it.

Can anyone give me some pointers? I really want to germinate this right, and I'd like to go the hydro route early - but I'm not sure on how easy it would be to transplant a baby around cloning time as I've never done it, so is it wise to germinate into hydro?

i found the best way was to soak them in ph'd water , destilled over night ,then get a bread and butter plate pour boiling water over it to sterilise it fold 1 piece of paper towel in to 1/4's wet it with the destilled water drop the seed on it, lay a single unfolded piece of paper towel over it and wet it some more seal it with some press n seal or glad wrap put something over the top to keep it dark another plate or just a page of a magazine and sit it on something warm like an amp , if its airtight you dont really need to worry about it dring out if you just go with the paper towel youll wanna check it ever few hours just make sure its dark and warm , also wash your hands and try not to handel the seeds when the root pops just drop it in the rock wool under lights and your away , just try not to molest the seeds swaet and shit from your hands ,nicotine esp ,treat it like a new bourn baby , sterilise everything and you wont have any problems , i used a empty yogurt container with some paper towel over the top to soak them , make sure its food grade and not transperant , ph 5.5-6 keep them warm should pop in 1-2 days , dont go nuts with the water just damp - soaked , no swimming pools ffs
