~New Run~

So I recently geared-up to do a little run under the good-ole halide/hps system. I made some seeds 2 years ago, I guess you could say my own Indica Hybrid using Paradise Seeds' (Durga Mata II CBD strain) hit with some of Seedsman's Afghani #1 pollen. Named the resulting cross "Midnight Nectar" and as expected it is Indica-Dominant Leaning hybrid with what I expect will be "Good-Night" potency. The Durga Mata II mom smoked nicely, and had a very relaxing stone with a high CBD profile, while the Afghani dad increased THC content and likely raised the CBD % also. Have a bunch of these seeds so I'm running a quick crop on 12/12 from seed. The first Lady indicated today and was transplanted into a 2-gal smart pot. Expecting them to be ready about 45-50 days into flower.

- Little update. The larger Midnight Nectar are going to indicate sex in about a week or so. Ridding myself of all males, transplanting the girls, on we go, 12/12 from seed. Nirvana's Master Kush fem seedling marked with yellow sticker, 10 days old. I want to use some Afghani#1 pollen to hit this Kush girl and get a few beans. Obviously, this run consists of nearly pure Indicas, and should be ready early as expected from its lineage, with the MK taking a bit longer due to its Skunk#1 influence. Most M.N. already have a strong Afghani-type smell when rubbed. Seems to me the Afghani#1 dad imparted most of the dominant traits found in this little hybrid. The dad dominates within every trait expression, from what I'm seeing this early on. This science project is coming out better than expected so far.
