Wondering if I should trim some of the lower leaves now. Specifically the 1 or 2 that dont look as healthy as the rest. And, if I should, whats the best way to do it? Ive seen them trimmed where they're not cut at the stem but just half of the fingers on the leaf are cut. Which is the way to do it?

Chief: come on, Chief, how would you feel if I cut off half of the length of your fingers? Seriously, if a leaf starts to yellow or wither I remove it and the stem that attaches it. And cut it off don't tear it off. Weakened leaves attract pests and diseases. There's nothing wrong with necessary pruning. Jut don't go overboard. If you read the material that came with your Aerogarden you'll find that they'll tell you the same thing. Their customer service folks will tell you the same thing if you don't tell them what you're trying to grow. It's a free 800 number. Tell them you're growing tomaotes. I hope that helps. HSA
