new lights?

i found some lights made for ourdoor use during christmas to show some lame reindeer outside my house. there very powerfull and i think im going to use one for my plant..does this sound better than using a flo desk lamp?

im not really sure...its probably flo
but its very strong

If it is a CFL then go ahead and use it if it is incandescent then it wont work worth a shit.

My guess is that it is probably a halogen lamp in which case it is also useless.

If the bulb in it looks like that I don't think it will be a CFL, they do make some CFL flood lights but they dont look like that.

well if that cant work then i plan on going to a hardware store or something...any idea what places have cheap ones?
home depot?
wal mart?

Either one or a lowes will probably have what your looking for.
