new leaves are all real light green

i cloned some of my buddies sick ass plants that were dark green. i have them in a hydro setup and the new leaves are real light green, im new to this so i dont kno if thats what happens or what. i checked for rootage and theres little roots but not much yet, they get longer everyday. if this has happened to anyone or anyone have ideas get back at me. thanks

Welcome to the forum and to growing. Ummm.. you got any pictures? Its pretty hard to tell if something looks normal if you can't see it? Sounds normal since the plant doesn't have much of a root system yet. I would feel a lot more comfortable about the answer if I could see what it looks like. We like pictures. VV

You might be suffering from some N def. which is normal till the clones can feed themselves again...just a guess since there is no picture.
