Briefly...
• Establish a mandatory registry for patients and designated providers
• Redefines chronic pain
• Patient possession limit reduced from 24 ounces to 3 ounces
• Eliminates patient collective gardens
• Changes all uses of the word “cannabis” to “marijuana”
• Establishes a committee to determine if cannabis patients need to grow their own after 2019
• Forces expiration of current authorizations

Your District represntitives will all be in Olympia next Tuesday and Wednesday the 14th and 15th of January for Lobby Days. They will be discussing this bill and others. Please find your representative http://app.leg.wa.gov//DistrictFinder Email them, call them, meet with them.

Please spread the word. This is a big deal for anyone affected by medical marijuana.
If you do nothing this bill could pass.

We need to get the minority republicans to sponsor a bill that would force 502 into fiscal responsibility. We need to show them the monetary value in keeping medical alive by us paying taxes on our grows without fear of prosecution. That the tax burden being placed on recreational cannabis is going to stifle potential profits thus less revenue coming into the state. These legislators love to regulate us out of business fools

understand what you are getting at. BUT it might be a first priority to stop proposed legislation that will hurt patients, since we already have laws for medical cannabis.

Get on board house bill 2233 House Bill 2233, sponsored by reps. Sherry Appleton, Luis Moscoso, Roger Freeman and Jessyn Farrell, would protect patients against arrest and would create a business license from the state for medical cannabis collectives. It would also preserve patient rights to cultivate up to 15 plants and possess up to 24 ounces at a time
