New Here-First grow (CFL's, closet, and some bagseeds)

Well, I decided to venture into the art of marijuana growing and so far I have been very pleased.
I'm growing in my closet and the plants are currently being lit up with 5 26w cfl's(6500k) and an oscillating fan for some air flow. Everything is on a timer for 18/6 as well

The grow started with one plant seen below.


It looked prosperous from the start, but then got stunted along the way for a bit.
Here it is at day 10

People said I was overwatering it so I just let it sit for a bit..
Meanwhile I started another plant about 3 days after the first one and right away it looked 10x better right off the start.

This is when it was 2 days old



I transplanted them into bigger pots on 10/5 and added another 26w cfl and a fan. The first plant is finally started to show some growth in its new home and the second plant is growing very well. (2nd plant is the bigger one)
Everything is set on a timer for 18/6 n so far I think things are going pretty well. They are in different soils as well. the first(small one) is in miracle gro organic choice and the second is in fafard potting soil(no nutes).

Plant 1 is about 15 days old
Plant 2 is about 12 days old

anyways lemme know what you guys think and if I should make any changes and what not.

I pulled plant #2 b/c my friend who is an experience grower confirmed it was a male, so I'm down to one plant.
its been doing much much better since the transplant and is about the same size as my other one if not bigger.

Its 21 days old now and I'm thinking about adding some nutes to speed things up, but I have no knowledge of them. I hear fox farm products are good, but is my plant ready for them being only 3 weeks old?

confirmed it was a male, are you flowering already? cause that's the only sure fire way to tell sex.. If they were still on 18/6 and your 'friend' pulled it, he's an idiot, you can't tell sex that early in veg!!! wasted a plant..

my advice; get more plants!

Superthrive is a good start to nutes, can get it everywhere for like $20. Once they get bigger (soon) go to your local hydro store and pick some.

i use botanicare products, superthrive and molasses
