New Growth is doing the Taco, why?

my plant just started flowering, and the new growth is doing the taco, folding in half

its also curling up into almost a spiral

the leaves are green, not crispy. and for the most part healthy

and the only ones that are doing it are the brand new growths,

any ideas what could be causing this?

It is normally caused by the plant trying to transpire water faster than it can be replaced. This can be due to under developed roots, under watering, Heat stress, low humidity, and lights being too close.

its out door. i have been watering with a gallon a day, the weather is fine, the roots have never been a problem

What's the temps and humidity outside? They may just being trying to stay cool. Having never grown outside I can't give you advice on how to help them.

are the leaves drooping at all? i always get new growth that does the taco thing. my humidity is never below 40% and never above 60% and my temps range from 75-82 about 3 inches above the tips of my plants.
