new growth and old fan leaves suffering

Got some plants that are progressivly getting worse. In Fox Farm soil, never added any nutrients to the medium, other than additional worm castings, the new growth on two of them have striped leaves (1st pic in back right.) the two in the back left (pic 2)stopped growing at all, last week I saw them gain 3-5 inches, this week next to nothing. all are 4 1/2 week old clones. Haven't flushed at all and I usually just soak the soil, I don't saturate it until it is dripping out of the drain holes. I typhically the fan leaves would droop if I overwatered it for a few days, I would let the soil dry and they would be reaching for the light (400W MH) but not anymore. the oldest leaves are being stubborn. Some brown spots have developed around the edges (pic 3). I did recently take clones from those branches, could that be why, and should I just cut those pansy fan leaves? I moved the light up, but the brown spots are already dry and crumbling if touched. The rest of the plant look fine though, so what did I do to my little buddy here. and how can I avoid it with my next batch. Ive got two 1 week into flowering that look great and they've been treated the same. thanks for the help.
