I am a first time grower, I'm growing 1 plant in my closet using a 150w hps and one 23w cfl on the side. I have a fan hanging right next to my sun system ballast, and an oscillating fan right outside of my closet focusing towards the opening creases of my closet door (door doesn't seal, it's a sliding wood door. Dimensions of total closet is about 8 feet wide, 12 feet tall, and maybe 3 feet from the door to the wall. I have reflective paper loosely enclosing the grow area. My temps are about 82 average and humidity 32 average (more than likely from the close fan to the ballast and plant). My plant is a week and a half old, growing great until I'm noticing possible nute burn. I used fox farms big bloom possibly too much and too soon on top of the ocean forest nutrient rich soil. My questions are:
Should I flush my week and a half old plant? And if so, I'm using a coffee container with holes punched on the bottom, probably insufficient for draining. I'm ready to transplant into a one gallon pot with proper drainage holes.. Considering my type of soil (ffof), misuse of over and early feeding, and young stage of my plant, How unsafe or unwIse would it be to transplant and then immediately flush? Is this necessary..? It seems as the only solution to my problem but maybe there is a better way around this?
Also, any thoughts on how I can raise my humidity and/or lower my temp? I also forgot to mention that I leave my screen window in my room open at all times. My room is about 15x30x maybe 12-13 feet high (this is minus my sliding closet). And any other thoughts on my setup? I figure with one plant, the window open, the fan by the hps, and the oscillating fan outside blowing in through the opening, that this should be sufficient for basic conditions and circulation.
Any thoughts, feedback, or suggestions would be so greatly appreciated.
