Hey guys, 1st thread here and must say that this place is a treasure trove of info!!! I have some ?s that I know you guys can help me with.

I have Nortjern Lights Autos and AK-48s. I germinated them with 100% success and put them into Root Riot cubes and into a Germination Station humidity dome with a heat mat. Now they popped through the top of the cube about 10-12hrs ago and are really small. A few are bugger than the others and a couple look to have 1-2 tiny leaves starting to form. While the rest are either *just* making it through or are just a small green stem. Now how do I know when its time to put them under my T-5 SunBlaze and how close do I want the light? Once their under the light I leave it on 24/7 right? For how many days(weeks) do I keep them under this before I make the switch to my HID lighting? I have HPS and MH but will be using the HPS for the Autos and for the AK-48s the MH for veg/HPS for flower.

So my ?s are
1) When do I put the sprouts under the T-5 light and how long do I keep them there?
2) How far away do I keep the light from the seedlings?
3) After how many days will I have to transplant them into a medium? Their in the root-riot cubes now but Im unsure of when I should put them in a pot+medium.

Sorry for asking these noob ?s but I am in fact a noob and when I searched I couldnt find anything that really delved into the actual seedling-stage all that much. Thanks!!!

1. soon as they sprout
2. 2 - 3 inches if they are fluorescent
3. as soon as you see the roots poking through or you could do it now if you wanted, it doesn't matter.

Thank ya kindly snowman! Isnt it better for a noob like myself to wait a little for them to get stronger and then move them to thier final grow pot/medium that way I dont cause them any added stress then they need to have? But yes I got a T-5 fluo that I'll put 2-3 in from them. Should there be a cover over the plants like the dome or doesnt it matter? Im pretty sure from what Ive seen, pix that is that a cover isnt needed. Thanks again friend happy growing!!!

yeah you don't need a cover once they sprout and you can wait at least a couple of days, i've never used the cubes, i just used the party cups, so i'm not really sure, they should be fine for a couple of days and then transplant

and you can transplant to a party cup or your final pot that you want to use unless you were planning a hydro
