continuing from title, the purpose of even creating an account to see if i'm doing this correctly. of course using my brain i researched a lot, aren't use any bomb ass seeds for my first grow (although i have ordered some- trying to get the math out the way so when they come i know first hand what to do)

OK.

Picture #1: Was when i just first started, with 1 75watt cfl and a crappy little 30+ bulb that fits in a reading lamp. it worked for the first 4-5 days then they starting stretching from what i've read. [ the second lamp in the back was not there while they were in that 5 days of life stage, just the reading lamp and 75watter were- that lamp there is now a twin 100 watt cfl lamp)

Picture #2: continuing from #1 this was growth after 1 1/2 days of having two 100watters in the chamber (calling my grow area). significant difference as you can green now instead of what seems to be death? :-P

Picture #3: Was by 2 (+5 total) with the cfl's being switched out- everything seems to be in order.

Picture#4: this is day 9 which by watching other videos and sssh they should've been bigger by now, but again 2-3 days into germinating i planted them so maybe i'm a few days off the age (+/-1 day) but anyway this is day 9 with 2 100 watt cfl's which i've had for about 1-2 days. within those 2 days though you can see significant growth aside from germ-day 5 with the 75 watter.

Pic #4 continue- Now that i've installed 4 100 watter cfl's (why it seems brighter than others) in the last picture today 1-26-11, (started 1-17-11)

I just want to know now that' i've up'd to 4 100 watters, should they begin their real growth cycle now, they've been on 24/0 cycle since they were planted, fans been on low and been up to medium for some time now, stems seems to slowly but surely becoming thicker, roots are traveling and i'm using the 2 day technique. (don't water for 2 days so your roots can grow deeper/bigger/ in search of more water so you essentially have more root).

i'm only wanting to experiment with this, i'm not going to become a tycoon- just some ish to smoke when i want. i'll veg for about a month or month and a half- but id' like to know i'm on the right track, i'll update by day (only so far been 9) 15/20 i might just do day 20 to save space.

my biggest wonder is i've read that 1. if the plants is taller than it's pot, transplant. did. was it the right choice at no more than 7 days old?- 2. what would've been a better time to transplant them cause i'm also reading 2 weeks before next transplant.

pictures 5 + 6 = are my 4 cfls, two are 5000k day bright bulbs and other 2 are whatever 23 watters have (probably 2600k warm) they have more of a red tone to them than the 5000k do a blue // The purple cup you see is from the 2 day technique i referred to above. they seemed dry enough to deserve a good drink until it wouldn't flow down no more, is this smart or should i try a different way to water if so explain.

any tips, advice, etc etc?

thanks. :D
