New grow. Excited.

Got a new grow setup and I'm super excited about it. 50/50 mix of FFOF and happy farms with a little additional perlite. Also have super soil concentrate on the bottom 1/3 of the mix in an attempt to go pure water only the entire grow.

I was aiming to go fully organic with no nutes but I'm not sure if it's gonna work with this setup.

Strains - Bridezilla, Rogue OG Kush, Gorilla Glue #4 all from Greenpoint. 8 plants total and they've all been transplanted into 3 gallon pots (they were getting rootbound in starter pots at first)

I'm in week 3 since seeds popped. And I probably veg for another 3 weeks or so.

My veg tent is 3x3
Light - 100W v2 HLG 3000k LED

Fits eight 3 gallon pots snuggly.

Flower tent is a 2x4
Light - 320W XL HLG LED.

I just transplanted two days ago and they're getting better. I'm seeing a little yellow on some and I'm not sure if it's just from being rootbound and transplant shock or if i should start small feeding doses.

What do you all think? I know the 100W isn't much for vegging 8 plants but I figure it should work. Once I move to the 320W flower tent they should explode.

If I need to feed, what should I feed them to keep it all natural? I think they need nitrogen but the new soil I transplanted too should provide the nutrients they need.

That’s probably what’s screwing with them ..... FFOF already have much of that already and is already nute charged.
It will carry growth for weeks on by itself. The simple 50/50 FFOF / HF would work fine with ph water 6.3-6.5 only.

That amendment appears pelletized ( and would not break down quickly ) and would release excess at every watering .

Just get some worm castings and either top dress with them or simply add it into your soil before transplants. Active compost what makes soil "super." You can acquire and add in soil amendments after your first harvest to recycle your mix. It gets better with every recycling. The cleaner your water source is the longer your soil will go without needing nutrients. If you need a soluble source of npk alternative to nutes use a liquid fish like neptunes harvest. You will probably be ok for awhile with just plain water.

They haven't reached anywhere near that as part of the soil yet and I just transplanted so that wouldn't be affecting it. Thah concentrate the is mixed in near the bottom of the pot so that the roots will that area during flower when they need it

Also It's not pelletized. It's composted and smells like straight shit in a bag so it would break down right in the soil. It's actually really good stuff it's just most people don't know about it.

you should do pretty well with the hlg boards i run solskins 1 atm in veg and it kicks ass i would say its around a 400 hps solskin is pretty much the same boards as the hlg v2 but more of a sun spectrum i have been told. veg was amazing now i am in flower only day 1 tho lol but i will be adding another 150 sol +180 epi so i should be in around 480 led wattage ;)

they said i wanna be in the 500w mark for a good pull no idea this my first run with leds as well so we can only see next run will be only 300w of solskin to see what it can do
