Ok so here is my problem. I just set up my grow room and i got running a 600 watt mh bulb. The heat is a problem as i have not cut holes for ventilation or nothing. I got a small fan blowing around air and room is not air tight yet ( I am just kinda wing it and fixing problems as i get them) I am running the light under a bat wing reflector so im sure a cool tube set up will help, but for now i want to avoid spending more $$. I got some practice clones (clones are abundant for me) in just to try it out so when the real deal comes i got the issues already fixed, well in a perfect world they are. With that being said Im only running my ballast at 50% due to heat. I was thinking if i put in an air conditioner will this be fine?
1.Will or should I cut a hole at the top for like a 6in exhaust fan?
2. If grow room is 6 ft tall wooden box painted, where should i put the ac, top mid, or bottom? Also do i need a fan to blow air around or am i killing 2 birds with one stone?
3. Lastly is the air coming in from the ac unit is this like replacing air from an intake fan so fresh air gets in and blown around or is the air coming out of the ac not as good as fresh air being blown in from a fan?
So to make it easy i want to just put in an ac to control heat and use it to blow around air without cutting a hole at top for exhaust and maybe a small fan to help push air around. Any help will be great you guys are awesome on this site thanks
