Well, I jumped the gun diagnosing the bud rot the other day. Turns out it was just some dying pistils. I took the following photos before the rain started. So, now I am worried again, lol. I'm gonna break out the leaf blower this afternoon!

These are Goji, Sunshine Daydream, and Space Monkey. All Bodhi. I'm hoping the the Goji does well, because it doesn't stack- it's golfball buds up and down the stem. SSDD is similar, and that's why I picked these two. The Monkey will be a challenge!

Any body else taking a beating from his rain? After work ive got some trellising to do! hopefully they hold up till I get home!
Yup my girls got bashed. Heavy with fruit and rain and wind pushed them sideways. Propped them up this am, hopefully minimal damage.

I can def. see the beginnings of bud rot today on my SSDD. I blew them off for 1/2 hour with the leaf blower, and I'll get in there good later today. Bummer, every year...

If you have active mold spores you might want to wet them down (h202 ?) and pick the mold out first, before blowing spores onto any other plants.

Sorry to hear about your bud rot, I whacked some Texada Timewarp from BC Bud today about a week to ten days before I'd like to , due to botrytis. They're off the list for next year, think I'll go back to Next Generation's version of Timewarp next year, they seem a lot hardier.

How do you guys tell early indications of bud rot? All of this talk has me very worried
Look for a single discolored leaf (brown or blackened) protruding from a bud. Carefully open the bud, if you got there in time, you'll know. Unfortunately, if you didn't get there in time, you'll know that too. I like to use hydrogen peroxide 3% with a little surfactant added and spray directly into the problem areas.

That second photo looks like worm damage which happens when they piss and crap in your bud. Every outdoor plant gets a little of that. I feel your pain bro.

The weather in the northeast has been awful the last two weeks. We had 90 degree days followed by cloudy mid 60 temps in the day. Now it's been raining non stop for two days.

Luckily I have a massive outdoor tent like gazebo in my yard, iron frame. Have the ladies locked up in there for now. Looks like it will finally break tomorrow with a few days of mid 70's sunny through the weekend. Thank God.

Guys doing the outdoor thing in buckets, in the northeast. If your situation provides the space, I highly suggest a large, metal frame tent from Wal-Mart next season. It's a crop saver. Going into the final leg, two days of non stop rain could have really damaged my crops.

Yikes, here I am thinking my girls were all good. Not so sure this afternoon. The rain / moisture has been bad, and reading about bud rot has me freaking out. Many pistils have turned brown and notice the little brown shit on the leaves. I think the pistils brown may be just normal plant maturation? Any idea what the little brown turds are? I didn't even see these things until I zoomed the pic. Sad and moist in MA :(
