New England Growers: storm alert

You probably already know this but tomorrow and esp. tomorrow night we may get pounded with torrential rains and gusty wind from remnants of Isaias.

Today and tonight is a good time to batten down the hatches and make sure your ladies are well supported.

Hope everyone fares well. Glad to have the moisture up here in Maine but hoping the winds aren't too severe.

I hear you about the rain--it's the Sahara in my neck of the woods right now. Be nice to have a nice steady rain all night but more likely we'll get pounded by a Biblical deluge and have something like 4 inches in one hour! Seems to be the pattern now--careening from one extreme to another.

Farmington here, last map I saw showed us in the middle of the path.
Should I cover what I can't bring inside somehow?
It's been so humid I'm having issues with my two girls but don't want to give up yet!

I extended my poles and put up some extra trellis netting--about all I can do. Garden is reasonably sheltered from wind but anything is possible.

This won't be the last one of these we see this summer/fall...

Good luck everyone.

Getting gusts up to 35 - 40mph here. So far my lawn is covered in leaves, ladies are doing well though.
