- I first put this in the wrong forum so i wanted to change it over to here to see if anyone can help me out
So I've recently moved from an area where I could do outdoor grows with relative security because no one was around for a few miles to now I have a townhome with no yard or basement. The way the house is set up is kind of weird, I have the master in the back and a 16X12 in the front street side of the house. That's the room I want to grow in but it does have one window in the middle of the room and I am not sure how to block it off to provide realistic security because lets face it a room where the lights never go on and there are blackout curtains on the windows is kind of suspicious
Now the equipment I have is as follows
1x 5'x5' grow tent
1x 1k watt ballast & Bulbs
2x 6" Cool tube reflectors
2x 6"x24" carbon filters with fans (380CFM each)
6x 5gal buckets (Thanks Acme)
1x 27 gal homz tough tote (wallyWorld)
1x Alita 15a air compressor
1x 20lb CO2 tank
1X CO2 reg
1X 6 in 1 Water testing Meter - ph ppm temp tds ec cf
Full line of H&G nutes
Enough vinyl hose to choke an elephant
10x C99xA11 Feminized seeds
1x Alaskan Ice Feminized seeds
The grow style I want to mimic is a RDWC as seen herehttps://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=26343
1) Can anyone give me some advice as to how i can add drip emitters to each bucket sort of like how a waterfarm works but with only one drip point?
2) Is there anything else I really need?
3) Can I grow both strains at the same time in the same system?
4) Would this grow room set up work? (See Drawing)
5) Would it be a pain in the ass to automate a system like this?
6) Is the 1000 watt light too much even with CO2?
Any help at all guys and gals would be really appreciated as I am in the planning stages of a new grow

I grow soil so no help on some.
My tent is (DIY) is 4 x 4 more or less and I grow four at a time. I don't think you need two fans in the tent blowing on the plants. One oscillating fan should be fine. I use a tower fan personally and got one with some ozonating feature that is supposed to clean air and smell. Don't know whether it helps with that or not, it just came with the fan.
I see nothing for intake on the diagram. Which leads me two other things - CO2 and temp control.
You are talking a small grow in a normal home that is not a 100% sealed space. If I were you, I would scrap all the CO2 expense and use passive intake into the tent. Your plants will get all the CO2 they need and you will get better temp control. Plus you need intake or the tent will implode! And it you have exhaust, you are going to be taking that CO2 from the tank and exhausting it out.
I used to grow CFL and now am using LED. But I would think that 1000W in a small tent would get hot, especially without air coming in.

so with a passive intake and my cooltube having air pulled thru the filter would my temps stay almost ambient room temp? If I am constantly expelling warm air and bringing in ambient temp air is the 1000 still too much? Also I was asking because another thought I had was to run the cool tube without the filter, have the carbon filter run only in the tent or would that not work?

You've already gotten some great advice, so I don't know what else to add.
It seems like a complex system, but I think it will work out just fine for you, even though it sounds like you're just starting off.
Some things that I've found helpful - reading Marijuana Horticulture by Cervantes. It's helpful for those everyday questions.
