New camera means time lapse journal entries!!! :D

So I ordered a new webcam for all the experiments I am going to be doing. I did my very first time lapse test on a plant.

I cannot use it on my grow room yet until I get my special USB extension cord.

From now on all my journal entries are going to have time lapse videos from the time in between each journal! Going to be cool :p

Now I get to see My MJ babies grow in "real time" well....not real time but you get the idea.

It is going to give me very good info on how the plants react to certain things I give them and how long they take to react.

I can do all kinda of fun stuff with this!! You will all get to experience it with me :)
 
One main reason I wanted to do this is so I can see how much the plants grow overnight and what they are doin when I am sleeping :p . Like in the video above I was watchin a movie and since that little guy didn't have any light but the ceiling fan lights it was roaming around in circles looking for more light
 
Yea I am doing my best to find a USB locally but no one carries the special Repeater kind that I need in order for me to extend the USB to 30 feet....I have to order it I won't have it until Monday or tuesday
 
ebay sells them but they are expensive as, Tbh its almost cheaper to by a match box pc and Add wifi 2 it and have it streamed to your main pc
 
Aright I ordered a 32 ft repeater cable on newegg! It was 2 day free shipping so it should be here tuesday or wednesday
 
Shit man that is so cool! Be sure to drop me an inbox or something when your doing it for real. That was funny how it was going round in circles haha
 
For sure, I should get my extension cable on Tuesday and I will set it up on my bigger plants so we can watch them grow in a 1 min video :p

I am going to set it up later today and start the timelapse and see what My bigger plants do over nigth :p
 
Cool man... I was thinkin I'd like to set up for a time lapse for my whole grow, but since my plants are on carts that I move every time I water I wouldn't have a stable image like that. When I get set up down the road in a way that I can leave the plants in one spot I'd love to do time lapses of each grow...
 
I'll say you like to have fun with em. A time lapse main cola would be cool. Very nice!!
