New Basement grow. STEALTH?

I have plans to start a big stadium grow with around 65 plants... using 5 1000w MH bulbs. i have calculated the cost of the electric and it will be around $910.00 just for the lights...

how do people do these big grows without getting caught? will they automatically be suspicious if your bill goes up to that?

Hot tubs don't even use near that much power. Can I ask why 1000w MH instead of HPS? Or are the MH just for veg?

5k should be nowhere NEAR 900 bucks!

yeah a $900 spike will get you noticed.figure 1000 watts per bedroom is the max so 3 bedroom home can use 3000 safe watts.that said your getting raped on electric.my shit is high but each 1000 watts on 24 hours a day a month is $65 so 5 is what $325 a month.

that sounds awfully high - my single 1000w might have upped my bill 40-50 a month or thereabouts.

dude just use a t5 grow system,
low heat , less electricity

i use a 4 bulb 4 footer and i LOVE the results
just as good as my old 400w halide,hps

5kw x 18h = 90kwh per day

where I am at, tier 2 and 3 electric is .12$ and .15$ per kwh, so 13.50$ a day for 90 kwh, about 405$ a month extra

depending on where you are at, (like California) nobody may care about that, other places that might raise suspicion.

um because i saw a stadium grow here with yields of 7.5 lbs and thats what they used.

i have 7 plants growing now the edges of the leaves are turned up what is that from? to much heat?

yes, that is usually the case- too much heat
