New baby clones with odd "sacks" please help!

Hello!
I picked up a couple of clones up in Humboldt, that they called "Magic". We planted them in the ground promptly and they seemed to be fine for a while, but now they both have formed these sacks under the leaves where it meets the main stem. These sacks are thick and there is powder all around the plant.

what is this? Is it a problem? they were w/o light for a good while on the car ride home from Humboldt, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I want to know if i should let them be, or take them out to make room for some different clones. Thanks a lot!

as you can see there just babies, not time for flowering ( or is it more of a seasonal thing? )

so are hermi's any use to grow, or should i pull them up? i talked to a guy today that said that it was just a seasonal thing that they'll grow like this (because this is an outdoor grow)
