New 400 watt hps/mh

Hey RIU I just got a new 400 watt hps/mh light and if anyone has any tips on how to use it I would be very great full !! I am new to growing so I'm not to sure on how to get the best yields !!! I have just been using cfl for the last 6 weeks and thought it was time to step it up a little bit with a hps !!! Thanks in advanced for any advice !!!
