Wa Gwan starting new grow!!! My grow consists of 2 4x4 areas with 400watt lights in each.
One area is for flowering the other for vegging. Since the budding stage is 12hr on/off period, can I use one 400watt lights and rotate two sets of plants splitting the 24hrs of light 50/50???
If I could do this, I could have 2 400watt lights flowering 2 batches of plants on 12hrs of light and get another small light for vegging clones waiting to go into flowering...So 2 batches using 2 lights for 12hrs, and then switching to the other 2 batches for there 12 hrs...when flowering plants are not under lights, I'd have another separate area of just darkness.
People let me know pros and cons of this setup???
Also:
1. Can plants in vegging stage use low wattage lights or even something that doesn't use so much energy???
2. How much yield will I get with 16 plants under a 400watt light for flowering and well maintained???
3. Is it dangerous to move plants from a lighted area to a dark area??? Should they stay where they are and only switch lights on/off???
4. Does a reflector intensify the light???
