Never seen or heard of this. Please Help

I was looking at my girls today and saw something rather strange. I found a small drop of clear syrup coming out of one of the buds from where it comes of the stem. I have not sprayed them in over a week. So I did what any grower would do and touched it. Some stuck on my finger pulling away from the drop. It was sticky. I then did the next brightest idea I could think of and tasted it. It was very sweet, like sugar water.They are being flushed and I am looking to cut them down in the next few days. Has anyone ever seen something like this and if so what and why is it doing this. I have not smoked today and in the last 20min from doing this I am getting a strong buzz like I just ate a brownie or something. I am not a newbe at growing or crazy.

Photosynthesis (Carbohydrate synthesis) occurs in the leafs of the plant, then is transported down the Phloem (kind of like blood vessels) in the form of Sucrose (Glucose-Fructose) to where metabolic fuels are needed, you were most likely tasting the sweetness of the sucrose in the sap. As for how you are feeling, most likely placebo effect

Could be a placebo effect, but I don't think I am prone to something like that. It is like a mild head high. The buds also have some other strang things going on. The resin glands coming off are not like normal. I use a hand 20times microscope to check them. When doing so they dont have heads on 90% of them. They just look like tiny hairs coming off almost like eye lashes. The bud is covered in what looks like the heads of the glands instead. I have not seen this either. Also the structure of the buds are in a strange shape also. I will get my camera out and see if I can get a photo to help since I can't discribe them properly. Thanks for the help. I will try to post the photos tonight. If not I will in the morning.

Look for what looks like drops of water. And I just wanted to show off my new tent. I also have a new 4x4 tent and 1000watt still in the box that I will set up whenI pull these. I am going to do 20 autos in it set on two week harvesting cycles.

Awsome, how is the smell? hopefully it just means they are oozing sweetness. Not sure if this will become a problem if the bud swells and still seeps inside causing mold. Strange looking as if part male or pollenated

I had the same problem. I am growing grapefruit diesel and my best 2 plants started leaking sap. i'm 6 weeks in to flowering and have checked plant for bugs - none found. If it makes you feel better haven't seen it happen again. Only thing that i can corelate, was I did have a heat spike 1 day before while working on my a/c.

It is said to be Jack Hair. But this is the last time I get any seeds from that bank. I have had nothing but problems the last few times I have used them. I will be only using The Attitude for now on. It smells very nice but not very aromatic.

It is sap, our plants do the same. We see it more on older plants that have been vegged for long.
Not sure about the buzz part though
