Hey im growing these from seed White Widow and Ak47 done them both before but i dont know what is going on with these...

As you can see they are not happy bunnies there 1 month old from seed

the temp in the hut is 29 c,humidity 50-60%
my soup temp is 23-24
night time temp is about 10 c lower

E.C .88 ( which goes back to the E.C ques i posted earlier)

using canna vega A B nutes 1/3 strengh ( 10 ml in 30 litres of water )

P H 5.8 -6.0 and stable..
got great air circulation basically the same as all the other grows ive done..
So im hoping that its just a case of waitng for them to put some more roots down and im panicking( thought i was past that :sad: )

if not god knows dont think i can be overnuting them ..maybe not enough. please help thanks

definitely not an expert in this field... actually a newB... but I'v been doing a lot of reading around... and from "diagnosis" pages, that looks like pretty signature over watering... causing the leaves to slump over as if they are too heavy for there own strength.
I may be wrong, so please don't quote me, however I do believe that that is a valid diagnosis... good luck and happy growing.
 
well it seems like you are on top of everything. even though the prior posted overwatering and virtually impossible in hydro setup, he may have point with regards to the medium-r u using cubes and if so are the cubes staying wet?
is this an aero or DWC setup?
what I see in the first pic, bottom two fans, is the begining of K deficiency, which if you search my last 5 replies to threads, it is the 'in' thing. could be coupled with mg deficiency. which is usually caused excess build up of fert salts in medium and res moreso in flower, not so much veg. ur Ec is calibrated correctly? if so, I would flush the medium if u r using one. I would also flush the res and refill with about half nutes than what u r using. do you have a ppm meter?
the last pic is looking like a P deficiency and the start of burn. gotta be something small u r missing. I would double check every again, including ph meter. ur gals are experiencing lockout.
 
Over-watering for sure; what's your watering technique, schedule, and grow medium? If that's rockwool, you should just soak it once a day for plants that size.

cheers mate is that a dead cert im NFt so the pumps on all the time but i appreciate that this is too much for little plants..

so what you think shall i turn my pump off now for what 24 hrs?
 
24/7 is too much so you'll have to cut it back until they get bigger. Try 15 minutes on/15 minutes off.

What medium are you using and is it sitting in the running water?

You really have to be specific about this bro. If you've got rockwool (or other) sitting in a river of water, 15on/15 would be just as bad. Is the plant suspended?.... is it only roots in the water?.... can you lift up that plastic and get us a pic?

sorry right i have three inch rockwool cubes sitting on matting the nutes are pumped from the res below onto the matting ..so the cubes are getting a soaking every 15 mins at the moment so yeah that is rockwool sitting on the matting the roots go into the matting

so i think i should let the cubes dry out for 24 hrs and then 15 mins an hour til they get bigger what you think ?

Hit 'em once a day then. When they've doubled in size, bump it up to twice per day... lights on & and lights off..... no night feedings either.
 
Rockwool holds a lot of water bro... you might want to try once every other day for a week or two until they perk up. Is that a capillary mat they're sitting on? It might not let the rockwool drain completely which would demand feedings only every other day or two at the most.
 
ok so im just gonna check youv'e been a legend + rep for sure

im going to hit them 1 time a day for what 15 mins/ half an hour only when the lights are on

when bigger twice a day ...what never feed at night or just at the minute
 
cool thanks again great help im gonna pull right back and adjust accordingly as they grow and need it ...bit of a schoolboy error really but if you dont know ask i reckon thank guys..
 
in the res do you use an air stone. not that you have to but if you do it will increase DO which will fix overwatering problem. another option is cooling res down to 20 C wich increases the DO capacity of the water
personally using watering cycle that gives cyclying water for an hour and dry for 4 hours,keeps tghe girls pretty happy, you just want to give ample time for rockwool to dry out . can we get a picture of roots under white light?

Hi yeah i use an airstone and i pulled my soup back to 20 c ( lukewarm) i cant get a pic of the roots as to lift the cover off will damage the plants but they are rooting ok and there all nice n white ( the roots) no brown or nasty ones..to be honest they look alot better for just not watering them for 12 hrs so ill keep ma eye on them thanks for the help ..think i just put them in the tank a little early ..ill put up some more pics as they get better.

A minutes silence please guys... they died, gone to the big plant in the sky....Schoolboy error wont be doing that again but i suppose its all a learning curve..All is not lost as i have another 11, WW and A k 47 seeds germing as i write this obituary..Thanks for all help all my own fault...Peace..
