Nevada unites

thread says it all, if you from vegas(or any other city) and a patient, this is a thread to post and combined thoughts on how to move the law forward in the favor of safe access for the patients...

Im here.... Micro grower primarily to stay within the ridiculous plant limit and weight limit. Running blue mystic, maui, and darkstar currently.

yea, im hopin its not to unrealistic to get maybe around 20 Nevada patients willing to meet up, i think NORML use to do that, never went to a LV meeting, but i heard they would just ask for donations and try to sell t-shirts, im not even sure what we would need to do to get laws moving forward, i just know NORML didnt do a great job changing anything

Las Vegas already has a MMJ meetup group, you can google it.

Not sure about shitty, but I agree with HungryMan that the existence of the Meetup.org group doesn't preclude some friendly networking amongst those of us who might or might not already be in the MMJ program. One advantage to improving Nevada's law is that it could bring into compliance those who would like to be legal but just can't operate under the strict plant and possession limits currently in place. I don't know for sure, but IIRC, the Meetup.org group requires you to be an approved Nevada patient to participate. "Networking" is not just one group of like-minded people getting together, but people from different groups linking together in different ways.

I'll be in Vegas for three weeks starting next Tuesday, Jan. 22. preparing for the Big Spring Move. If folks wanted to get together during that period, I'm down with it. There's a good Nevada group on ICMag too who might be invited. But someone other than me needs to take charge and set something up. I'm still 1100 miles away.

hmm... an mmj groupe for anyone, not just those following the law. prudence and paranoia push me to propose that the last thing folks with such intent should do, is first nail down the location to meet,. and post it online,.. plenty in advance.
but then again, i wouldn't post i had shit for sale on riu either so wtf do i know.

I've wanted to do that, but unless we have a STRONG supply of quality seeds that we want to see wasted... I wouldn't bother.
The climate here just isn't good for growing, the temps are WAY to high.

I wish this thread was still active, it's really nice to see some other LV growers.
I'd honestly feel nervous about a meet here in town, you never know who's listening in, and I know some aren't legal card holders.

I think most of you use that card holder word for a crutch because before thing became legal in NV just about all who like, love, or enjoy this plant grow illegal at some point and time so you miss out on meeting some cool people but at the same time you have to have your guard up for snitches that need stitches lol but legal card holder or not MMJ in NV or my LV growers!!!

It comes down to not being a coward. We need less closet smokers and more people ready to come out of the closet. Only when people unite as they did in Colorado do the raids finally stop. Stop being a coward.
