Neighbor said she can smell my grow.

Last night one of our neighbors knocked on the door and said that she pretty much knows we are growing in our apartment. she swore she wont do anything about it. she just doesnt like the smell and its going through the vent. idk what to do....one side of me wants to chop em up and throw everything away. other side wants to just stick it out and cover the vents. im 5 weeks in flower with my white russians. what do u guys think
 
get a charcoal filter man, the smell will only get worse, covering the vents wont do much in about 2 weeks, then the drying and curing, that smells even more!
 
At this point I would be big time paranoid. Its not like she's not going to tell anyone even if she says so.
 
There is a product available to resolve this issue, and most home improvement stores carry it. It's a sheet of carbon filter that can be cut to any size, then simply duct tape it to a fan or install directly onto vents.

exactly!! I'm constantly thinking....shit what if she can smell it right now and just gets sick of it and calls me in
 
maybe you could try dryer sheets in your exhaust? i use those in a vaporizer and it pretty much only smells like dryer sheets. My buddy uses this he just puts two dryer sheets in his exhaust, takes down air flow but smells a lot cleaner

Yeah dude, fuck this... if you're not in a legal state, at this point the typical approach is pack it in for a while at least... then seriously overthink a better setup and even maybe move to a different apartment first...

Harvest them early and make some hash or somethin at least? You got some buds right? I think you said 5 weeks in... should have some significant growth. Won't be ripe, unfortunately, but you can still get something out of it anyway
 
Adding a filter is great and all, but what if she gets pissed at you for some reason or has a drunken blab at a bar or party, now you have a real security issue. The horse is all ready out of the barn, build a new door isn't going to change that.

Tell the neighbor you shit-canned the operation. Also, how in the hell do you apartment dwellers deal w/maintenance guys?...that's something you can't get around in most buildings.

lol it says alot if a person didnt already call you in, if i were you id be furious at self you got like a couple days here till you get a carbon filter and your gonna kill her lol. I mean i know it SOUNDS like it wouldn't work but honestly i go into my buddies house and till you get right up on the plant it smells like hes doing laundry with extra sheets...
