ok so i use neem oil for an organic insecticide/fungicide. how late should i spray during flowering? i dont spray any neem half way through, for example, i wont spray any neem during week 6 on a 10 week strain. does anybody happen to know if the neem oil has any effect on the mycos & other beneficials in my soil? im all organic & want to keep it that way

actually, my aeroponics dont have bugs, but my room with 5 gallon hydroton does. so tired of rocks, the fungas knats love to lay eggs in it. I hand water the buckets but I set it up to flood like ebb and grow.

would not put it in a reservoir cus it's really oily and only way to clean it out is with soap. Might clog something, other than that I don't know.

For the original poster you can just water the neem into the soil. I use 1 tsp/gal.

why? that would be murder!!!! i posted this same question in another forum & the response was that neem will & does in fact kill the beneficials if poured into the soil.

it takes 2 weeks to dissipate so you can spray all the way up until two weeks to harvest.

spraying neem oil up until about 2 weeks till harvest is about right, although there are some who swear anything sprayed on degrades the smoke.. thanks for all the responses

what fact? Show me scientific proof.

i am a grower & here for help as well as help others. i am no scientist nor do i know of any here on the forums so i can not provide what you are asking for..

what i can do is cut & paste the post i got in another forum from another member asking if the neem kills, & his response is..

"""Neem is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial so yes it will kill the micro herd"""

that statement makes sense to me so i in turn offer the same advice to others. if you think otherwise feel free to continue what you do.

here is a statement from my google search on neem & neem oil

Soil drenches have a negative impact on the beneficial fungi which plants need to help them process nutrients.

feel free to read from the site yourself if you so choose & notice the different studies from different universities

good info, +rep.

I'm still going to test it out for myself though because I did recently stop a flea infestation on my cat using neem.

How did you do that?? I have a blue pit and nothing works for her to stop chewing at the fur around her tail, I would try the neem. How did you apply it?
