Does anyone know if watering with neem oil will affect the ph of the soil. Also will using it at the same time as grow big nutrients harm the plant? thanks for the help
maybe im mistaken but im looking to buy neem for my outdoor grow to prevent bugs and i think its for foliar application any experienced member can confirm this?
I use neem all the time to control pests (namely spider mites). For what its worth, I don't think I have ever heard of anyone mixing and watering their plants with neem. I have a feeling that would be bad
Lol, yea bad idea,
I mean y would u do that?to protect ur roots,
U put it in a spray bottle with water and then u spray ur plant, lol water w/ neem oil.ur crazy
Look at it as learning something new instead. That's how i live with myself.
But seriously neem cake has been used for centuries in the rice paddies of India & S E Asia so i doubt it will have that great of an effect on the pH, soil is a great buffer to pH fluctuations of that range.
ok thanks for the help. this is my first year using neem oil on my grow and i have had lots of problems with bugs and mold in the past because my climate sucks. Everything i have read makes me think neem oil is a legit solution. thanks for the input
Using Neem oil in your water to water your plants will not only not get rid of the pest as said earlier but it will in deed fry your plants if young and really urt them if more mature. Speeking from expierence
