I have alot of work to be done w/ my plants but right now is their night time is it okay. To take them out of my closet and work on them

Not really, interupting the light/dark schedule is stressful to the plants. A few min. here and there shouldn't make much difference, but prolonged exposure to light during the dark schedule is not good for them. If you must work on them during thier night cycle, get a green light. Make sure there is no other ambient light and use the green light only. It won't effect the plants photosynthesis (atleast not noticeably) and will allow you to do what you need to. A green cfl from Homedepot will work fine. Happy Growing.

If you are in veg, it won't hurt anything at all. If you are flowering it can hurt, don't do it.

Go with the green like he said. Still don't use it for long periods as the recent studies I've read say that the plant still picks up the light

You dont want to use a green CFL which is just a bulb with painted glass. The green paint on the glass doesnt change the spectrum of the light.

You want a green LED light which actually produces green spectrum light.

Even with one, I would not risk tending to my plants during the dark period during flower unless it was absolutely necessary.

Interrupting the dark cycle (if any) in vegetative growth is fine and will not harm the plant.

actually, just doing some research and I guess a painted bulb works. Still, I wouldnt even risk it.
