Need wiring help

I just bought a Sunway digital ballast from hid hut and I need to hardwire it to my reflector.

The cable from the ballast to the reflector has a white, black and green wire, I assume the green is ground. The reflector has a white and black wire, my question is do I just connect white to white, black to black and then ground the green?

Yep, Nothing really to much to it. You dont have to ground it if you cant find a ground, but would be good if you did.

What happens if they are not the right wires can it blow the ballast or the lamp? Thanks +rep

It could be a shocking hazard but It wont blow up. The consent would be wired backwards and could shorten the life of the bulb and the ballast.

Alright well I'm gonna give it a shot, I guess we'll see what happens

If you keep the colors the same you will be fine.

Just got done and it works! Also pleasantly surprised by silentness of the ballast.
