Need vapor advice

I have a vapor brothers whip style vape and am not getting much enjoyment from it. Anyone have experience with these? It's the first vape I bought and I find myself going back to the bong, pipe, and joint to avoid using the vape. My problem is that I don't feel like I get a good hit.

I keep reading people saying that vapes save their stash and blow their heads up. Not in my case. I can vape bowl after bowl and not get where I wanna be. My stuff is good so that's not the problem.

I have been reading up on the Aroma Extreme Q from comments on here but it seems like there is a new best ever vape on here quite frequently. I have been taking my medicine for the past 5 years from a bong. I have always had a good VO2. I can handle and prefer heavy hits. Is the Vapor Brothers not the right vape for me?

I also use a lot of ice wax and bubble hash. I have not had the best luck with bubble in the vape. I would like a portable vape for the travels and a home vape. Any help you can give will be gr8tly appreciated.

I'm not looking for cheap. I am looking for the better and best.

I find it hard to draw consistently on a whip vape, therefore the temperature varies... the volcano pushes the air through the material for you so it maintaings perfect temperature the whole time. A cheaper alternative you might want to try is to use a bubble or a bong attachment (I literally just shove the tube in a bong I have, works like a charm) and use the bubbling to gauge your breath and draw nice and slow.

On the other hand, honestly, when my tolerance is high vapor stops being as effective for me. I find the only "real" solution to vaporizing ineffectivity due to tolerance is to get into concentrate vapes that provide "dab-like" rips, like the persei.

I tried putting the whip in the bong and it got clogged on the second pull. The smoke was still really dirty (for lack of better word). I put a paper towel over the mouthpiece like a filter and draw in to see how much tar I am really getting. This method was a little less tar than the bong itself but not much.

In the research I have done it looks like the Volcano is the best home base model and the persei is the best portable option. I do ice wax and bubble hash and am wondering if the persei will burn those? Will it burn plant material too or is it just for dabs?

I have not used Persei but am not a fan of the vape pens, and I have used all sorts! As for home vape maybe your not getting proper temps or something? I get lit off my silver surfer vaporizer and I use all sorts of concentrate some draws may seem heavier due to the melting hash

Temps could have something to do with it but I am trying not to heat it up too much. I am around 350 and feel like anything more just burns. Anything hotter seems to cause the same issues as other methods and that issue is me coughing up green and gray crap. Just putting the bong down for 2 months has improved my health. I feel like such an idiot for actually thinking bongs were a healthy alternative. I thought that the water was a filter. My mom always said if I am gonna be dumb I need to be tough but even the toughest guy has a limit when it comes to tarred up innards.

I would bet that I am not getting hot enough for the concentrates. I think I am gonna hold off on the pen / portable unit and just commit to the Volcano. Should have just bought it the first time but I let the pretty girl behind the counter influence me. Baaah (sheep noise).

Finally someone who agrees and understands that vaping at lower temps is best. Personally I vape at 369 and not any higher. You can get away with 374 degrees which is setting 6 on the volcano classic but there's no reason to since 369 gets the job done and is 5 degrees less. I've noticed once in a while at setting 6 I get a harsh hit on some of the later balloons since I try and get around 5 balloons per filling chamber.
I also completely agree with your take on bongs. Filling up a huge chamber with hot smoke, sucking it all in and holding it for as long is you can is not wise IMO.
Vaporizors have been around since the early 70's but the DEA put the breaks on the manufacturing and distribution of them because they are catagorized as drug paraphernalia. Thanks U.S. government.
