I looked at htg and they got one tdm for around 140 and it has built in PH.

The other one was around 36 bucks. would you tell a brother to do???

First meter ever? Get the cheap one and then when you finish a grow and get some cash and you want to upgrade then you upgrade. I use a cheap one off ebay, seems to work fine.
