Need some opinions/help ASAP PLEASE

Currently growing in crawl space about 4 ft tall. Have 4 1000 watt nanolux dimmable ballast. Currently running at 50% 500 watts each and its doing the job. Have fans and portable AC as well. Temp is usually 73-75 degrees with lights on. I just switched to flower and tried running at 75 % 750 watts each and temp jumped up tp 82-85 degrees not ideal. If I flower at 500 watts with 4 lights am I wasting my time or can I still produce some solids buds ?
 
WELCOME to RIU. You will find a lot of great information on here, but also some not so great information. The most important thing is to continue to learn and do individual research to find what works best for you in your garden. Make use of the forums search bar, as this is a great way to find threads that are posted on topics and questions you may have. Furthermore, don't take information as being a 100% valid without verification, I prefer members who have photos, videos, etc to back there claims, but even then every garden and grower are different.


Finally, please know that "Well-Known Member" doesn't necessarily equal "Great/Knowledgable Grower" as many new members tend to make this assumption. I am a prime example of a new grower, who has received this status simply because of my activity on the forum!

I don't know that I would call it a waste of time, as many growers here have great success will 600w and many have great success with far less. Not sure the square footage of your grow or number of plants, but seems as if 1000w would be almost a guarantee of problems with only 4ft of vertical space. What kind of fans are we talking? If your talking about like oscillating fans, they won't help cool the air just move it around, however I am hoping that you have some type of extraction fan to help vent out that hot air even with the ac unit there. Is another ac unit a possible option?
 
You will need to disclose more info like how many plants and the complete space you have and Ect... Ect.... Sure no one can answer this with what you posted???
 
Its 4 ft tall and a 12×13 ft room. Doing a sea of green setup with 36 plants 18 under 2 lights and 18 under the other two. I'm using 6 inch exhaust fans with a 6 inch booster fan inline. Portable AC and another fan bringing in fresh air and two oscillating fans. I have another AC unit but not sure it can circuits can handle it. Whole room is pretty much sealed and have panda paper covering everything for reflection

I take it that it is HPS or MH? You must have some pretty short plants for only 4 feet of growing space with that much wattage. How long did you veg your plants before you switched to flower and what are they auto or photo?
 
As far as talking air flow, if your intake fan and/or booster fan have a lower cfm rating then your exhaust fan, then your exhaust fans air movement is being restricted because of it. This is why many people will recommend a passive intake system and strong exhaust fans. However, not sure of the details on your fans. If possibly, I recommend basically giving every single detail that you could possibly think would play a role in whatever issue you're have, whether in the case or any future threads, as limited info results in limited ability to give good results.

However, there is also a great search tool here on RIU that can help track down other threads involving high temps to. Thinking the height of the space is going to continue to challenge you as far as turning your light up higher. Other option to consider, would be completely removing current fans, sealing the whole space, and using co2 to help the plants thrive in higher temps? Again, the search tool can be very helpful.

Ummm.. ya i think the height restrictions are gonna be a concern unless the OP used topping or other stress training techniques. Also depends on how long the OP vegged the plants.

BTW good luck on your grow and the ?? to your answer but pretty bleak input on your setup/grow so hope you get the answers your seeking.
