So my friends are few but the ones I do keep are for a quality>quantity reason. One of my friends ended up getting a broken hip a few months ago. Had to leave his job. Had to leave his home. The works.
He had one surgery and is awaiting another (hopefully final). The Dr's did the usual thing. Just sign him scripts of various narcotic pain killers. Which are all insanely addictive and he personally doesn't even want to go down that road. Not to mention they make him hurl. He toughs through it for the most part.
I've been doing the good deed of hooking my friend up with some good smoke since the start and will continue to do so. He actually only hits the bowl at night when he's going to sleep and it bothers him.
With his next surgery coming up I'd like to get a nice grow together just for my friend. I'll personally be purchasing the seeds, soil and ferts to get it going from start to finish. Most of them will be done outdoors but he's in a position where he can utilize my old HPS lights to get a few going under 12/12 himself indoors. It'll help with some quick smoke and not to mention give him something to do and focus on considering he's bummed due to inactivity and everything I described above.
He's loved THC-Bomb so far and Sour D from RQ.
I'd like some input though from anyone really who could point me in the right direction that may fit his needs a little better.
I'm not asking for a magic bullet here. Just something very high on the pain killer end that may work better than what I've been tossing him so far.
Price isn't an issue and neither is the concern on yield. If I have to do more plants to make up the quantity factor but get quality it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

with no experience as far as pain relief goes, just research, i've got blood orange, sunshine daydream, cheese quake, space bomb, caramel candy kush, chocolate rain and the free bean i got from seedsman "OG" going too. other than the free bean, the rest are for pain (except the CR, i can't remember, that just might be because it's chocolate) 
and i'll report back in a few months and let you know what works. i've been reducing myself off of oxy for the last several years. (used to be on 80 mg, 4xday and now on tens four times a day and that is because of cannabis!) cannabis is an amazing medicine. please keep us informed on how this grow goes and how your friend is doing.
