need some help..want it to be perfect

Ok after my first 2 plants...one sprouted and the other didn't..I want to make sure I plant everything perfect this time! I went out and got Foxfarms Ocean Forest Soil and Foxfarms Grow Big/Tiger Bloom nutes..I transplanted the one plant that did sprout into the Foxfarms Soil..I am germing more seeds right now..So how long should I germ them for? One seed has already showed a root after 1 night. How deep do I plant them? When do I use the nutes? Also right now i'm using 20on 4off should I change this? Thanks for the help..

k man you just germinate till the roots are about as long as your thumb nail. then what i do is take a pencil and make a hole as deep as the seed with the root combined. Then i put a little dirt over the top. like sprinkle it. then WALA!!!

Thanks man.. I already put the seeds in lol..the tap roots were kinda small on some of them..but all but 2 have sprouted so far. lol when you said "sprinkle" I immediately thought about the chappelle skit " just sprinkle a little crack on him and lets get outa here"
