!need some help making hash!

confused
wanted to try to make some hash w/the trimmings i have; forgot about them and then "refound" them today, they are bone dry and ready to go. but.....i dont have the pleasure of owning any "bubblebags"; how can i go about making some decent hash? i know it is possible, i just cant find the damn methods:twisted:. please help a fellow stoner out:confused:
 
theres some stuff on youtube about it. One guy thought he made up the mthod and called it "gumbo" hash (pretty stupid) but its actully called something "gravity extraction" or somthing.
 
thanks bro; but let me be a little more specific; there was a good thread on here w/instructions and i believe pictures; would anyone might happen to have an idea what i am talking of? i cant find it for anything

I dont know if this is what you are looking for ,but i am sure i got the info of this site.
if not look up ice hash ,i made some a couple of years ago ,and basically ,mixed my leaf ,and small buds with ice and water ,which also has to be cold ,shook the shit out of it ,put it back in the fridge , to settle , ithink it is better if you have a mixer or blender,but it worked ,i remember having to do it a couple of times then removing the crap ,filter via a coffee filter ,let it sit again until you see the green sediment on the bottom of your jars, i then drained it very carefully until only a small bit of water was left ,then i just tried to get as much fluid that was left of with dipping paper towels on the edge of the fluid, left the remains to dry and got some nice hash ,after a bit of hassle collecting it and wrapping in tin foil ,and pressing ,all of this is of a very bad memory ,but the hash was great ,i didnt get heaps ,but better than the crap that i started with.
i would do it again as bubble bags cost to much for the amount i grow. and everyone was stoked when they had a try.

Yay! I probally should have mentioned though this method is better suited to large quantities though.

i got that; had about 30g of trim, so i used the blender and two big pitchers; no large plant matter in the pitchers now, just nasty looking water... its been chillin for about an hour, and w/ the aid of a bright flashlight (to light up the murkiness) i can see trichs settled on the bottom,:hump:. couple of hours i will do the first drain of the top water...wish me luck:blsmoke:

i was gonna suction everything with..(you have kids right?) a booger bulb!!:mrgreen: at least at first, then i have a more delicate medicine suction thingy..thank you though; its nice to know that riu still has alot of people that are genuinely trying to help others. i smoke one for all of you:joint::blsmoke:
 
im going making some hash myself soon, ill do the silk screen method its seems like the easiest way for me..
put the kief into frezer first for 20mins to loosen trics, then just pass it over the silk screen gently and the trics sive through and the green stays above..... there is a vid on you tube..

i tried doing the water methods witth unwanted males before anf found it very messy but i didnt know what i was doing anyway..

Jorge Cervantes covers this in his Video on growing. Mostly used there with SWAGBAGS method is almost like our Limey friend uses! G, day to u mate! Great thread...gonna try some myself this weekend. I am going to try something very easy....gonna freeze up my cuttings and place them in the fridge overnight. Then the next day I will take them out, will frozen and rub them thru a screen to fall upon a mirror. That is the cheap & easy way to make hash. What falls on the mirror is the frozen trichs. and you can instantly roll it up into a ball & smoke it. Best of luck!

have done the dry rub already a few times with decent results, just wanted to see if water extraction would give me a better quality or yield; or hell, both:mrgreen:
 
I prefer the butane honey oil method. The hash is so smooth and super easy and fast to do.

Ive never made butane honey, but i thought you werent supposed to use a plastic pipe..

Thought it needed to be metal...

DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR THIS< I DONT KNOW IF YOU ARE SUPPOSSED TO USE METAL OR PLASTIC, and i dont want anyone blowin themselves up...

Maybe a honey oil expert can come clarify for us....
